WELCOME AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Leader: Better the poor whose walk is blameless than a fool whose lips are perverse.

People: Desire without knowledge is not good – how much more will hasty feet miss the way!

Leader: A person’s own folly leads to their ruin,

People: yet their heart rages against the Lord.

INTRODUCTION “Into My Heart” (Verse 1) FWS 2160

HYMN OF INVOCATION

CALL TO WORSHIP

Leader: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

People: And also with you.

Leader: Choose life. Love, obey, and hold fast to God.

People: We choose life. We will love, obey, and hold fast to God, for that is life for us and our descendants.

PRAYER OF INVOCATION

Living God, we seek you with our whole heart though we are not entirely blameless and deserving of your gracious attention. Though we may be no longer in spiritual infancy, we have yet to grow to the maturity of Jesus Christ. Receive our prayers for Jesus’ sake. Amen.
