Leader: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

People: And also with you.

Leader: Do not keep the goodness of God hidden in your heart.

People: We will proclaim God’s faithfulness and saving power.

PRAYER OF INVOCATION

As we are gathered in your presence, O God, we proclaim your faithfulness and saving power. Like the first twelve we have followed Jesus as our teacher and believe that he is your anointed servant. Through him we have received the Spirit without whom we could not pray as we ought. Accept our spiritual worship through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
