People: We will give ourselves wholly to prayer, always interceding for all God’s people, and pray for you that you may be granted the right words to make known God’ purpose.

PRAYER OF INVOCATION

Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change, we worship you as those who are reborn by the word of truth. We present ourselves as a kind of firstfruits of Jesus Christ. Receive us for His sake. Amen.

Sissie: Prayers of thanks for the people that helped me at the Festival in Long Branch, Joanie, Virginia, Donna, and others. Prayers for my Dad.

Virginia: Prayers for happiness for my friend.

Winn: Prayers for healing mercies for my daughter, Sandra, and that her new medication works. Prayers for my grandson that he continues his education.

Richard: Prayers for homeless people, and prayers to provide them with help.

Jim: Prayers for my sister and thanks to God that I was able to help her.

Marie: Prayers of thanks for Sissie sharing the word with us. Thanks to God for where I am today. I thank Him. Healing mercies for my Mom, and for my sister-in-law. Thanks to God for all my blessings.

Joe: Prayers for healing mercies for my Dad, and for strength and spirituality. Thanks to God for bringing me to Him. Prayers for my Mom.

Offertory Prayer

August 30, 2015

Generous and Holy God, every good and perfect gift that touches our lives does indeed come from above, provided through your gracious and boundless love. We bring these gifts, such a small portion of what we have received by your hand, and doing so join them with others that we might be found to be doers of the word and not listeners only. We pray this is the name of Jesus the Christ, our rock and our redeemer. Amen. (James 1:17-27)

Prayer Requests: Aug 09, 2015

Pastor Mike: This is an opportunity to praise the Lord. God answers our prayers. Salvation is a choice. Let Go – Let God! The Lord loves a contrite and broken heart. Prayers for patience on the Lord. Remember, the further down we go, the higher God can lift us up. Lord help us to appreciate all You have given us and encourage others to enjoy as well.

George: Prayers of thanks and praise for God’s healing mercy for Sofia.

Kathleen: Continued prayers for the Slater family, healing mercies for Gary. Thanks for all my Blessings.

Sue: Prayers of thanks and gratitude for all of my blessings. Travel mercies for my son, Thomas who leaves on Tuesday. Thanks to Winn for sharing her prayer with us. Prayers for all serving in the service. Prayers for Phil – healing mercies. Prayers for my nephew Bill.
