CALL TO WORSHIP

Leader:  The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

People:  And also with you.

Leader:  Hear the invitation of Jesus:  Come to me, all those whose work is hard, whose load is heavy; and I will give you relief.  

People:  We will bend our necks to your yoke and learn from you, for you are gentle and humble-hearted.

Leader:  Your souls will find relief.  

People:  For his yoke is good to bear, and his load is light.

Compassionate Christ, we have come to learn from you who are gentle and humble in heart.  As we seek to emulate you in our worship, prepare us for your service as true and loyal companions.  Amen.
