Leader:  Love the Lord, who has heard us and listens to our prayers.

 

People:  God has given us a hearing whenever we have cried out to heaven.

 

PRAYER OF INVOCATION

 

God of glory, Son of humanity ascended to glory, Eternal Spirit, we worship You in all humility and gratitude.  We are not ashamed of Jesus our Savior in His humility nor in His majesty.  Receive our worship in the name of the One who loved us and gave Himself for us, Jesus the Christ.  Amen
