Our staff at Sea Bright United Methodist Church (Sea Bright UMC or SBUMC) consists of experienced, seasoned men, women and youth. Some are third- and fourth-generation parishioners.
Pastor Michael Turner
A Jersey Shore resident for most of his life, Pastor Michael Turner has served Grace United Methodist Church of Union Beach for the past 10 years as both Youth Minister and Lay Leader. He is excited with his present appointment as Pastor in Sea Bright and looks forward to expanding the church’s programs and its role in the community.
Pastor Turner is the proud father of four children; Michael, Dillon, Austin and, a daughter, Reilee. Michael, his oldest, currently serves in the U.S. Army. The pastor, along with his family and the congregation of Sea Bright UMC, welcomes everyone to worship and enjoy fellowship in the name of Jesus Christ.
George Finegan: Lay Leader & Musician
George Finegan and his wife Frieda have lived in Sea Bright, raising a daughter and 4 sons.
George serves the church as a Lay Minister, and music has always been his passion.
George has a long and special history with the church – his great-grandfather Mr. E.S. Nesbitt donated the Organ that’s behind the altar.
