God of Bethel, Christ of Bethlehem, Universal Spirit, your angelic message by Jacob’s ladder and the descent of your Son himself to Bethlehem by way of Mary is the beginning of good news that has spread almost everywhere in the world. We worship you because we have responded to that good news with eager faith reborn by the Spirit. Amen.
