People:  We seek the face of God who is with us in Jesus Christ.        

PRAYER OF INVOCATION

We seek your face, O God, seen by Mary and Joseph, and the first disciples of Jesus Christ, and visible to the eyes of our hearts as we hear the Good News they have written in the scriptures and as we are open to the Spirit of Christ within us.  Be with us today and always.  Amen.
