People: We bring to God a humble spirit, for God will not reject a humble and repentant heart.
PRAYER OF INVOCATION
In humility and penitence we bow before you, O God, to bring honor to you, turning from behavior that is shameful in your sight. Remember our human frailty and receive our imperfect worship for the sake of your worshipful Son, Jesus Christ. Amen
